Name: Godric (formerly Anthony)
Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him (some of us use ‘it’ for him because we’re not convinced he’s a human alter but that pisses him off)

Origin: Rowan chilled out and did the same thing that Lucas did to form him.
Role: Fictive, Persecutor
Time present: A little over a week
Fronting frequency: Never *Edit: very very rarely*
Okay so Godric is banned from fronting full stop, so the rest of us are collaboratively writing this instead (Rowan’s fronting but everyone else is chipping in too) *Edit: since he’s settled down a little he’s being trusted to front occasionally now, but it’s not usually around other people*.
Anthony was a placeholder name really, it’s the name I first went by when I cropped up and he decided that since he’s so similar to how I was, it was a reasonable name to use in reference to him, but has now changed it to Godric. Godric (so far) is not a nice guy. That’s the understatement of the millenium, but he’s really not. In the week since he presented as a fully fledged alter (he’s been kind of half formed for a long time — at least a year), he’s openly insulted one of our closest friends, he’s had many many violent urges and, while he’s not internally homicidal like I was when I first started, he does perpetuate our intrusive thoughts, particularly the depressed intrusive thoughts. He’s been doing that since he first popped up as a voice about a year ago, but since presenting as a full alter he’s gotten worse. He seems to have the attitude of “if I want it, I’ll take it, and I don’t care about the consequences” — an attitude he also seems to apply to people. Oh and we’re pretty sure he’s externally homicidal to some extent. Hence why he’s banned from fronting.
So far we’ve at least managed to get him to agree to the usual ‘contract’ we form with alters when they present themselves, based off the contract that Lucas made with me to stop me being such an asshole all the time (once I realized that being internally homicidal would lead to me dying too, which would suck). Essentially this means he’s agreed not to do anything that would put us in physical danger or that could ruin our future prospects (basically he’s not going to put us in hospital or prison). However, like we’ve said before, he’s not very trustworthy, so he’s still banned from fronting, at least around other people. We haven’t decided if he’ll be allowed to front when we’re alone or not yet.
We’re hoping that Godric is just following the usual pattern of our alters: when we first present, we’re a very concentrated version of ourselves, because most of us have formed from forceful dissociation to some extent. Over time, we settle down and become more rounded and less concentrated. I got a lot less violent and degrading, Elijah warmed up to the emotional side of life a bit more, and Jimmy is less childish than he was and more like an average ten year old now. Kit hasn’t had much of a chance to settle down yet, but she is getting there slowly. Hopefully, he’ll will follow the same pattern.
